The company was incorporated in Jan 1993
The Hotel Fleet was established in March 1993
In April 1993, the company signed the Service Agreement with Portman
Riz-Carlton, thus becoming the first car rental company providing transport service
to high star hotel guests.
In April 1994, Dazhong Car Rental Company set up business relationships
with Shanghai Branch of China Motorola Co., Ltd., the first foreign invested enterprise
among the world top 500.
In March 1995, three stretched limousines were purchased from Taiwan
City in the form of auction and were put into operation in the car rental market.
In June 1997, the company carried out new service of “customer orientation
purchase” trying to explore upper and middle level of car rental market.
The state Guest Fleet came into being in June 1999
In September 1999, the company was designated as the “special fleet
at foreign affairs receptions” in the Global Fortune Forum by the foreign affairs
office of the Shanghai municipality.
In July 2001, the company passed the ISO9001:2000 edition of quality
management system certification issued by Shanghai Audit Center of Quality System.
In October 2001, the company provided transport services during the
APEC conference and was appointed as the “transport unit designated by the Municipal
Government”.
In October 2001, Duqing, a driver from the State Guest Fleet, who
joined the reception service during the APEC meeting, and a photo taken with national
President Jiang Zemin as a memento.
In March 2002, the company passed U.S. RAB ISO9001:2000 edition of
quality system certification.
In June 2002, the company was chosen by the China Car Rental Association
as “national advanced enterprise in the car rental industry”.
In January 2003, the model drivers were organized in an inspection
tour to Hong Kong, which is the first practice in the car rental industry.
